Fan replacement

Hi all. I’m just wondering if anyone has replaced the bathroom dime store fart fan in their 252RL ,and if so, with which brand?

I like the operation of the Maxxfan with its motorized opening and rain sensor. There may be some control wire routing required for you 🤷🏼‍♂️ unless you get the remote control option.

HOWEVER!
We've been in this 310RL for 30 months (24 month warranty🙄) and both of the lids are cracked where the two arms open and close it. The price range of lids is $50-$60! They've been covered by the Maxxair covers for 29¾ months so it shouldn't be UV damage. This cover is much larger and a more complicated molding but is about $35. Why do the lids cost so much?

Looks like there are now, RV recovery junkyards. I haven't checked their inventory, but I ask for those on a budget and $35 matters.....It really could be a short cut, if in a real bind and a part is going to take a long time to be shipped!! I am going to keep this in mind, in the future.

George,
You can reach out to AirExcell and i believe they will send you replacement lids. If you open the lid and take a picture from the roof, you will be able to send the model/serial #s.

Heng makes an insert the replaces the fan frame insert from the inside without disturbing the roof seal. Really good fan with multiple speeds and reversing capability. We used one on one last RV, a travel trailer. Really made a difference.

I did that Wednesday but no response yet. I only asked for the part number for the lids so I can make sure I get the correct lid. It would be really great if they stepped up and provided the lids gratis. I'll get up there and photo the numbers in the meantime. Thanks
