Exterior Basement lights

Hello all
I have a 385FL and would like to know how to turn off the lights that automatically go on when you open compartment door to the exterior basement. I recently mounted a tv in the space and would like lights off while viewing tv.

Our 310 RL has small switches on each light that lets you choose between on, off and motion activated.

Our ‘24 385 has those motion lights with the switches in the forward side access compartments (wet bay and opposite side) but the huge rear basement compartments have smaller fully automatic motion lights without switches. If these are the lights in question I think that you would need to add a switch, or switches to cut the power to them when watching the TV. I think that ours just has 2 of those motion lights in the garage basement side compartments, one on the forward bulkhead on each side.

Thanks for the responses mine has a little puck light at each end no switches and a rope light all the way along the top of high side compartments.

we added a switch to be able to turn the lights on and of manually using the same lights that are mounted in the storage compartment. got tired of them always turning on and off when doors were closed. we also set a 50 inch TV in the compartment so we can watch TV outside and not have to worry about the lights turning on and off. 2024 Avenue 32RLS
