Excessive Flies getting into RV when not being used.

We have had alot of flies getting into RV when it is parked and not being used. I had my RV at service center for a fix on a couple other issues and asked them if they could check it out. They told me a trailer isn't completely enclosed, they didn't find anything. Took it to park and I notice when slide is shut I can see the light outside from inside. This is at bottom of slide. I thought it was the rubber flap that moves with the motion of slide.
I'm not talking about 3 flies, I'm saying every week there are about 10-15 dead on floor, bench, everywhere. I recently discovered about 10 dead behind the sofa.
Any advice would be great

Hello, not sure what model coach you have, but start with the obvious, the daylight that you noticed. Also, if you have a basement and a grill that returns air to the furnace, insects can travel from the basement into the coach.

Proactively, I added a piece of window screen behind this grill to help prevent insects that might get into the basement from traveling into the coach.

Slides are not 100% insect proof, but it would be consider abnormal to see light while the slide is shut.

In MHO, the reality is that a few insects inside during storage and use is normal, but what you describe seem a bit excess .

Just throwing it out there!

I pointed that out also and they said “normal”. I said b.s., my 2008 fiver didn’t have this issue. Crickets.

Ok, when the slide is left open, not one fly foe weeks, shut the slide and they are back. We will be taking it in for another issue. Thank you all for suggestions.
