Any feedback on the RVLock (door lock) for the door? We are planning on purchasing and want to get it keyed with the same keys. Is the number on our purple keys our key code number? It looks like this Gxxx. X being numerical.....

Hello JCH, I have no experience with RVLock, but can confirm the G number on your keys is the code that you need.

I don't think the rv key and the RV Door Lock key will be interchangeable? I have the RV Door Lock version 4 and they have laser cut keys.

I guess you could take the RVLock to a locksmith to see if they can change it to the RV key. However, that seems like a lot of $$ for little return. The concept of RVLock is to not use a key. There is even a bluetooth function that locks/unlocks the door using your phone.

Not sure what model you are purchasing, but I tried rv lock for my valor and they would not fit correctly. I tried another brand, no joy there either. I gave up on trying to find e locks for the valor glass doors. For the record, I think the glass doors were stupid move. They are black, and they get so hot that everything binds in direct sun. The other thing is, for all the glass and you still have a tiny window.

We had the Bauer keyless/Bluetooth lock installed at the National Rally and it has been wonderful. We previously had the latch it brand but have found the Bauer lock is flawless.

When ordering the lock, there is a drop down for your key code. I assume it will be keyed to my rig key.

You just need to see if they can match your Global brand key

Installed by professionals Is the key there. They deal with door camber all the time and know how to get it to fit perfect!
Every every camper everytime I try and ”Improve” my door handle I have messed it up? Or the lock that is supposed to fit does not?
Nothing worse than a door/Handle/Lock that won’t shut right and that was perfectly fine till I messed with it? 😂😂😂
I love the idea but have not had much luck? Maybe Bauer and one more attempt?
