Disappointment

Once again I am disappointed that Alliance would not share some basic information on how to attach a new exterior bulb and sweep seal on a slide room. I was only inquiring as to the best fastener to attach the new seals to the exterior. Yes, there are mainly staples currently but it would have nice to know verses using screws to a fiber glass surface. I would hate to damage the fiber glass wall.

Your post indicates that you have been disappointed by unmet expectations from Alliance in the past. Your hopes, or desires, on how Alliance would react have been unfulfilled. We all have a different opinion regarding expectations, including Alliance. It appears that your expectations are different than those at Alliance and perhaps a dealer or mobile tech would be more available to work with you on your current and future issues.

While I understand what you're after. There is always liability with giving out any sort of technical information.
While I'm sure Alliance wants to be helpful They also do not want to be held liable for what is done with the information. It's simply easier to avoid conflict Not giving out a lot of technical or any info other than basic Owner's manuals.

You just can’t fix stupid. That’ s how we got 20 page of warnings and 1 page of instructions. All the manufacturer has to do is say “by a qualified person”. To all the lawyer types out there that want to give me all the reasons why that doesn’t suffice, I don’t care and I shake my head at the total lack of common sense, most people lack, these days.

Beware of the coolaid drinkers. You are not allowed to say anything bad. Even when they deserve it.
When has anyone been sensored here for negative comments? I moderate (not paid a penny by Alliance) and I don't recall ever removing a post for negative comments toward Alliance. Now, if someone gets crazy and starts being rude/negative towards a person on this forum, I will remove and warn poster. I can't recall ever doing that either, cause I think we have a great thing here.
