Delta Ultra Lite - anyone took it to winter camping?

Hello folks,

I'm in the market looking for a travel trailer that's towable by a half-ton truck. The Ultra Lite models seem to be perfect for that. I inquired Alliance about the temperature rating, and they replied that it hasn't been tested, and referred me to this forum. I understand this is a very new model, and it's supposed to be built very much like the Delta models. Are they equipped to camp in low temperature environments? (10s and 20s, like winter in AZ, UT or CO) Anyone has experience camping in them at those temperature range?

thanks,

Jason

Not sure what you consider winter camping.
I have seen a couple over the past week camping in SC temps in the upper 20s and low 30s overnight. They were all smiles when I asked how they liked them...

Camping in 25 degrees tonight. Turned on tank heaters and I'm using a heated hose...everything else is the same.

Camping in winter is a challenge, you have to have heated water hoses, tank heaters. The furnace will run.

We camped in are 2024 385FL in the Georgia Mountains, low's at night in the teens. Filled the Fresh Water Tank, discontinued to heated water hose, Campground rule. More that comfortable
