Converter fan turning on/off

I have a Valor 42V13. We are plugged into shore power. Every so often I hear the converter fan turn on. It will run for about 5 -10 minutes, then turn off.
Can someone tell me why it does this? Does the fan coming on mean it's working harder or something?

Perfectly normal....just doing its job to keep 12v running to the RV and topping off battery bank.
