Considering DIY Disc Brake Install

I love disc brakes. I don’t have them on my 340RL - yet

I'm thinking about upgrading our 310RL to disc.

Has anyone out there done the upgrade themselves?

It looks pretty straightforward. I'm thinking a 2 or 3 day job if I do it myself.

It's out of my lane but many have done their own. It's a worthy upgrade as well. If you end up deciding to farm it out, contact Performance Trailer Braking. They'll sell you the kit and send an installer to you.

I saw your reference to Performance Trailer Braking in the other thread and have already decided that I would be ordering from them. They seem like a top-notch business.

I may not do this until next spring but will let you know how things work out.

It might be worth it to pay for the installation, but I am just stupid enough to enjoy a challenge like this when it's within my abilities.
