Carefree Slideout Covers

Hi All, new to the forum. We just bought a 2023 32RLS. Have not taken delivery yet. Slideout covers are being installed. Carefree is what they putting on our trailer. How do they compare to Lipperts?

Hi. We have always been happy with Lippert components and happy with their service, but have not had their slideout covers. We did have several Carefree toppers on our last RV and they served us well. We did have an issue with spring tension for proper retraction, but we are sure that it was issue with the original dealer installation and not with Carefree. The problem was easily fixed and Carefree was helpful. Hope this helps.

I haven't used Carefree. I've had the Dometic (A&E) and the Lippert (Solera) slide toppers and have been pleased with both.

Howdy All, After camping several times with our 32 RLS I believe our slide toppers need tightened. They are theCarefree brand. Is this something I can do?

If you live where you get a lot of leaves or pine neddles dont get this . they get cought in the cover and then bunch up and jam the slide out.

We have solara and they work well.
