Campground Ants

We made a quick overnight stop on our way home and woke this morning to find some ants had made their way inside our fifth wheel. As we were packing up I found more who were coming up the sewer hose. I had a water bleach mixture available and sprayed the hose and valve connection down. We’re typically live and let live campers but obviously we don’t want to bring any hitchhikers home or the nightmare of dealing with this during a longer stay.

Any preventative suggestions? This is the first occurrence during our four month trip. Thanks

When in ant country:
Make sere no branches or bushes are touching you camper at all. Ants crawl up and in.
Spray your sewer hose and around where the tires touch ground and the level pads with RAID. Just a fine mist.
leave no food or sweets out Inside camper Especially if temps are over 90 degrees, they want water and sugar.
