An odd design choice, but in my 29RL there are 12 cabinets that if you open them the door it hits something else. This will obviously cause some damage over the time so made a project to fix that.
The easiest fix is to add some cabin door restrictors which limit the doors to opening 86 degrees (preventing the handle from making contact). Checking with Alliance, the hinges they use are from Global Link, model number H-CC4046-N. Unfortunately that manufacturer is not very end-user oriented, so I wasn't able to locate restrictors for those hinges, and they never replied to an emailed question. However, Amazon sells an inexpensive soft-close hinge (link) which is a direct replacement for the stock hinges. That manufacturer offers add-on restrictors (link) that are inserted before installing.
Took a couple of hours to swap out all of the hinges affected (including time to be sure the doors were aligned) but everything is working great. Recommended!
