Bypass Built-In BluTech filter? (Paradigm)

Alliance has started providing a built-in BluTech 10-inch water filter on Paradigms. It's described on page 227 of the latest owner's guide.
Do any of you know whether they provide a way to bypass that filter?

We have a 2026 370FB on order, and we already have a 2-stage BluTech filter system and water softener. I would rather not send the water supply through another filter after those two have done their jobs. Just wondering how creative I'll have to get.

Thanks to anyone who can share their experience!

Seems like you'd have to do some PEX work to remove it. Simple solution is to just remove the filter from the factory BluTech system...then it just becomes a "thick hose" for that area. LOL :)

😄 Yep, that’s what I was thinking. I just thought maybe there was a bypass valve.

I wouldn’t mind plumbing my filters and softener *after* the factory filter. But I’ll most likely just leave the filter out and call it a water hammer arrester. 😁

I have the built in BluTech filter on my 2026 Valor 36V11. Does anyone know the part number so I can stock replacements? Thanks...

You can find them on the BluTech web site.

0.2 micron:

5 micron:

BluTech support is very responsive, so you could even do an online chat or email them to get their recommendation based on how you plan to use it.

I've been looking for a small replacement canister that would essentially bypass the filter. No replumbing, just screw on a blank, very mini, canister.

Their 5" canister is probably the smallest option. We picked up our new Paradigm a couple of weeks ago and haven't had any trouble just using the 10" canister without a filter. It was sort of handy to have it when we sanitized the fresh water tank - I just put the sanitizing solution in that canister and filled the tank.

By the way, BluTech support's recommendation for me was to just run it without a filter or maybe put an additional charcoal filter in it. In my mind, I don't want to re-filter after the water softener, so I'm leaving it empty.
