Brake issues

2026 paradigm 310 with independent suspension and disc brakes when I have turn signal on and apply brakes signal blinks fast. Pulling with 2024 gmc with factory brake control. All factory update and brake control updates have been completed. Brakes work fine just turn signal messes up.

I’ve never owned a GM HD truck but follow them on vehicle forums. They can be very sensitive to LED lights on trailers.

I’d pay close attention to the brake actuator. Check every connection there.

I’d check the usual stuff. Clean the 7 pin connector, check for grounds, etc. You want to check voltage on the truck and the trailer with signal on and brakes applied and observe little difference between the two.

Anyhow, this is a starting point but I’m betting on the actuator having a wiring issue. Hopefully it’s simple to remedy.

It sounds like a ground issue. I'd start looking at your 7 pin connector, make sure everything is clean and no corrosion.
