We used this mount for our 24” tv. Works great.

Thanks! What mounting hardware did you use? I read another thread that the mounting area is metal? What part of PA?

1 1/4” metal screws. Drilled pilot hole first. It is a metal backer plate.

I mounted my TV using the existing backer, but I’ve seen others attach a wood slat tv wall for a more finished look and extra support. If you're worried about weight or stability, that method seems solid. Some people also use full-motion mounts, but you’ll want to be sure everything is secure for travel.

Mounted the TV mount using 1" metal self tapping screws. Using a 32" TCL 4K Roku Smart TV.
Used a mount that the TV can be tilted down a little buyt also easy to remove to take outside to mount on a sturdy TV stand.
Dual use TV. Love Roku TV's. Use wireless WiFi or phone Hotspot for hookup! Works great!!

I do not, but a call to the A Team Service Dept. Might have the answer or even a print to send you.

Wondering if it could be steal and a magnet might help you find the boundaries.

It is steel — they call it EGS (electro galvanized steel). On my 310RL it's supposed to be 15"x15" centered above the window.Screenshot 2025-10-28 at 8.22.37 AM.png

That's great information above. that's what I will use as my pattern and where the plate is located on my 32rls. what size screws are the best for a 32-in TV to hold that in there I would like to use self tapping. The length and the thickness of the screw would be helpful if somebody could provide that just to make sure I'm doing this right. thank you everybody in the forum

I used 1" self tapping metal screws. i mounted a TCL 32" Roku TV. The mount I used was a simple bar mount with a slight down tilt. Works perfect. About $12 at Wally World. The walls are supposed to be 1 1/2" so wanted to make sure didn't come out the outside! That would just ruin your day!! Here is what you look for on their web site. I use this and the TV travels fine with no problem but with the pulling of the two pin releases I take it outside and mount it on a similar bar mount on a TV tripod for viewing outside if desired! Simple. I just would not put holes in the side of the RV to mount a TV mount.
