36V11 loaded pin weight

I'm looking to purchase a 36V11. I have a 2024 GMC 3500 ATx. I'm investigating if that is enough truck. Does someone tow with a 1-ton? What is the loaded pin weight, more or less?

340 rl 2023 16500 gvw actual measured pin weight is 3500. I have a 19 dually Silverado. More than enough truck. I know yours will be heavier I’m guessing

I looked at the specs for that unit. Says approx 3k pin weight. I would go with the 20-22 percent which is around 3700 on your truck……

I pull My 36V11 with F350 SRW. Pin weight on mine is about 3200Lbs According to the Scale. Trailer all loaded up ready to camp but empty garage. That is with the Generator installed, 30 Gallons of Fresh water and 15 Gallons of gasoline . With the truck loaded up with wife, dogs and fuel, rear axle is 6800 lbs I have 430 Lbs to Max weigh on rear axle. hope this helps

Thank you for the reply. I wonder how much pin weight will be offset with say 800 lbs in the garage. Did you have weight in the front storage compartment? What was the trailer weight from the scale?

With the configureation I mentioned above, all loaded to go camping, here was the actuals. Not sure what the ratio is when adding weight to the garage as to what it takes off the king pin. Need to load the gator up and see what effect it has.

Very helpful! I’m considering a 36v11. I have a 24 f350 ho. SRW we are looking at a golf cart or a smaller utv like a honda pioneer 700-4. My daughter and go to Clay target competitions around midwest.

What year is your 36V11? I like these numbers on your slip along with your 3200 lbs. pin weight. If I may ask, what's also the cargo carrying capacity of the trailer?
