I am considering purchasing a 2021 310Rl and changing the pin box to a Reese goose box. Can someone tell me which frame this coach? I want to know if I need the 3rd gen goose box.

thanks. Why did you go with the Gen-Y instead of the Goose box?
With the "promise" of better MPG, which for me has not materialized. I went from 10.4 on my standard B&W manual sliding hitch to 9.4 on the Gen-Y (all based upon the trucks information center, not on numbers generated by me).
And I believe at the time I got the Gen-Y, Reese had not come out with their Rhino box version.

How long did it take to break in? What model did you get? I just put the 5500 on my 340. Like a brick for the first 500 miles but it’s getting better. Original preload is the black line and the red is after 550 miles

I got model number GH-8066AL (5.5k pin weight), and I did not look at the green line when I first put it on. My MPG went down (from 10.2 to 9.2) which surprised me. I think I need to readjust it a little as I sit slightly nose high, and perhaps that will help with what I feel when I tow with it. Having said all that, I am happy to have the bed of my pickup usable when I need it.

Ahhhh you said kingpin but you got the gooseneck? I have the 5500 king pin box. They didn’t have a sticker on mine like you have. Thanks for the reply.
