Watching intently...I'd love to do the same in the 30BH, if it's relatively easy?I am planning to add reading lamps to the cabinet over the bed. Has anyone added lamps and tapped into the flat surface light already on the cabinet surface? I want to understand how to remove the surface lamps without damaging them to tap into the power wires.
FYI,,,,as noted above, they probably require a 1/4 turn clockwise or counterclockwise to “unlock” the lens,,,,still real easy,,,have not experienced any that will pull straight down,,,but this is our first 5er too,,,good luck, safe travels,,& enjoy! 🙏🌞🍀!They're bright aren't they? You just pull them straight down and they come out so you can access wiring. We left them in place but added puck lights for reading. Works great but have to change the batteries every couple of weeks.

Do you have a link to those lamps? We were just discussing how bright the factory touch lights were for reading in bed. ThanksThanks for the guidance, I’ll checkout the pull down process shortly. I found a nice 12v reading lamp which has a dimmer function and a blue night light function on Amazon. I’ll post pictures and some info on the installation once completed.
Here's another option to consider. I don't like reading lights above my head shining in my eyes when laying down to read. I prefer the lights from the side that I can adjust. I ordered two of these USB lights with flexible gooseneck. They can easily be adjusted and have 3 levels of light. Not only are they good for reading when the lights are out but just touch them in the middle of the night and they turn on low so I can see to get up. Not bad for $8.I am planning to add reading lamps to the cabinet over the bed. Has anyone added lamps and tapped into the flat surface light already on the cabinet surface?
