That is not the Curt Touring Suspension.I have this recall notice. Went out and looked underneath... I am confused doesnt look like the pic on the Lippert web site - is this the Curt Touring Suspension system underneath all the steel? I dont see anything else looking like suspension... looks like more than 0.8 hours labor if it is the touring system
Thank you - I missed that sticker! The rubbing is mud from the dirt road I live on! Came back with the rig in flood conditions and it sank a couple inches in a low spot in our drive...You can actually see a Morryde sticker in your photo.
Also after a second look at your photos, do you have something rubbing the inside sidewall of each tire.
There appears to be some strange marks on your sidewalls.
Your welcome!Thank you - I missed that sticker! The rubbing is mud from the dirt road I live on! Came back with the rig in flood conditions and it sank a couple inches in a low spot in our drive...
All that said - does the hitch part of this this system - it does have a coil spring and shock absorber...
Well, after digging online it is indeed a Moreryde suspension, never saw that sticker! I found a pic of Moreryde workers making one that matches.Your welcome!
However, I do not understand what your mean or are asking in your last sentence.
Still unsure, did you have a question regarding the pin box? Or were you just trying to identify it?Well, after digging online it is indeed a Moreryde suspension, never saw that sticker! I found a pic of Moreryde workers making one that matches.
As far as that last sentence - sorry - its a Curt pin box
Point of interest on the maintenance of the MorRyde IS, make sure you grease the torque bracket and also check the torque on the four bolts that hold the bracket (250 Ft. Lbs.)Well, after digging online it is indeed a Moreryde suspension, never saw that sticker! I found a pic of Moreryde workers making one that matches.

I am wondering if the pin box is included in that recall. Finally talked with the dealer who sent me the repair instruction - they do not include the pin box. Also waiting to hear back from Alliance on this... but Im confident that the recall notice doesnt apply to me, but having it sent to me is confusing. Dont want to risk a problem is all! Thank you for the help!Still unsure, did you have a question regarding the pin box? Or were you just trying to identify it?
I dont think my torque wrench goes that high! But I'll certainly check... thanksPoint of interest on the maintenance of the MorRyde IS, make sure you grease the torque bracket and also check the torque on the four bolts that hold the bracket (250 Ft. Lbs.)
