well, technically, my name is in the system, and any day I should receive my VIN and will sign up for the daily photo's of the build as it makes its way through the assembly line. 
A little about me, and what makes me tick....
First and foremost, I love my family more than anything, and I love our many traditions and the stories each of our lives are writing. But as the 3 kids have been getting older and older, there is a few "hobbies" and passions that have been getting more of my time....
I Love backpack hammocking in deep wilderness, the further from people the better (I make a yearly trek to Idaho for 2-3 weeks solo in the Sawtooth's and Salmon-Challis areas). I also love to make things from multiple different types of materials (even getting the raw materials myself like lumber from trees, leather from animals, even steel from iron-ore). I love to Engineer things, 3D model the solutions, then operate various CNC's from my 3D models (like CNC metal milling, CNC wood carving, CNC Plasma cutting, and even 3D printing and all kinds of lasers (both of which are essentially CNC), I am a Leather Craftsman (have had my own Makers Mark for over a decade now, been in the craft for over 30 years), reloading most of my ammunition (and casting my own bullets), I'm quite the Electronics nerd and combined with my 3D printing, metal milling, and 35 years with a Computer Science degree I can make almost anything to solve problems, I'm into organic gardening and preservation (canning and freeze drying), past couple of years I have really been getting into all of the nuances of sourdough bread making from my own fresh milled flours.
I am looking to retire in a year or so, and when I do, I am wanting to spend a good bit exploring this beautiful country. I have decided to do it via a travel trailer instead of a Class A, Class C, or 5th wheel. And though I was very close to being on team Brinkley, I ended up falling in love with the manufacturing process, choice of materials, craftsmanship, and style of the Alliance trailers. So, having watched enough of Josh (haha) from Bish's, I decided that they should get my business and after a phone call from one of their reps out of Idaho (thanks Pat Silva), I decided to buy my 2027 Alliance from the Davenport Iowa Bish's and make the drive from the Atlanta area to save on transport costs. Enter in good ole Chanler Ellsworth from the Alliance team, and I started asking my many many questions that he has been amazing (and patient) at answering. I have owned a 2000 Beaver Class A, a brand new 2019 Jayco Class C, and converted my Ford Transit van myself for a poor-mans Class B (lol), this will be my first travel trailer and I am looking forward to the many pro's I know of from experience of not having that with the first 3 (as well as I am aware of some of the negatives, though I am mitigating most of those).
Although, I'm used to carrying my shelter, food, etc on my back during my journey's and setting up camp is usually a medley of knot tying, getting a fire going, and hanging my bear bag of food high up in a tree 100 yards from camp; but I am looking forward to just sipping on my coffee in comfort in different area's of the country, and then hitting the road again.
