when Alliance added wood inside the rear square tube
I will say the tube had wood in except the last foot or so. I stuck in a 6” to 8” piece in the end. Not sure how far wood goes through, will know when I do the other side.

Not sure expansion rivets will work right if there is wood most the way across. I will take a pic on the other side when I get to it. It is cold right now.

Funny, they can’t afford to fill the tube end to end but have money to waste on all the extra wire in the underbelly.

2023 370FB here. I added these angles under mine, in addition to the recommended repair. They can be installed, even if you have already put the sheet metal wrap back on.

Mine had wood in the tubing, but they fell short of running it to the end...LOL.... I got some monster sized metal screws, put in a pre-drilled piece of wood, and screwed through both sides of the tubing.

My back wall was waving to people as they passed on the highway. There I was thinking they were waving to me and being friendly!!

Wood "packing" has been used as the industry's common practice, but the practice has shortcomings. Wood reacts to different climates and humidity factors; It shrinks, cracks, strips under threaded stress. At least one other manufacturer is using neoprene as a replacement to wood "packing" and I personally think it's a viable surrogate.

Pics of the other side. Could only stick about a 3/8” piece of wood in that side. Ran some 2” screws through it to ensure the long screw and bracket had more support. Turned out ok.

Well rear wall fix is done. I had no loose screws on the angle iron behind the couch so I left them all in place. Drill 8 holes for the exploding rivets and had to use 2 different rivet guns to in stall. Here is also a pic of the rivets. I had trifold rivets but opted for the ones Alliance suggested.

Link for rivets. 250 count. PM me your address and I can send you some. I will never use them all.
A great example of how we all accumulate so many shop things...and a solution to how to get rid of the extras, without throwing it away. Maybe a business idea, for a young man with IT skills....... we donate, but his business model pays for the postage?...then they become an online "Sanford and Son". It's a stretch and not a business I would play, but did someone say "Camp Fire"? Maybe under a non-profit model, it may work....

Honestly I have way too much stuff. Overly Blessed. Everytime I do a project I end up with more junk. I used the table saw and trimmed up a 60 plus year old oak board to do rear wall fix, so now I have over 3’ of that left. Bought the L braces for the side and of course it came in a four pack so now I have two extra of those. Rivets I have over 200 of them left.

Really any anyone needs a couple pieces of oak 3 to 6” I would be glad to help them out. Or if they needs the works, wood, the L brackets, and the rivets just let me know. Happy to help. 1st address I get I will send them out. Oak board has to be pre drilled, hard as wood pecker lips.

This site has been a huge information gathering place with a lot of knowledge. You all are appreciated.
