we have a 2024 Avenue 32 RLS and when we went to light the furnace this morning it turns on with the fan. the igniter is clicking and the propane turns on for a second. you hear the flame burning and then it just flames out. I went outside and listened from the side of the trailer and you could hear the fan running the igniter and the propane turn on it. ignites and heat comes out of the vent and you can smell the burn propane a little bit and then it just shuts off. no no heat coming out the exhaust pipe outside. any ideas? any help would be appreciated. I am pretty mechanical and if someone could lead me in the right direction that would help. Thanks

Good afternoon,,,,another thread in this forum suggests you check your femote fan setting on the AC remote,,,,needs to be on A,,,rather than o. If you haven’t solved your question here are a couple of suggestions,,,,,🌞 2 possible issues come to mind if your propane tank has fuel. 1). check outdoor panel where pilot light for refer is & make certain the pilot light location is not blocked w debris,,,,small brush or lite air can help solve if blockage; (2). Often, once a trailer has sat awhile w/o propane use, the propane line develops an air pocket. The solution for this is to turn off the propane tank & any propane gas appliance ( refer,,,stove top,,,hot water heater) then slowly turn it back on again before you attempt to start one appliance,,,it may take a few tries but the appliance will attempt to ignite the propane. If it is quiet you can here the igniter clicking as it tries to light the propane,,,& if it ignites you can hear the burner operating,,,The main tank may shutdown after 3-4 tries,,built in safety feature,,,,so you may need to repeat the process but after a couple of resets,,,it should fire up.
TIP: If you turn everything on inside at once the propane draw wb too great & that may also cause the main tank shutoff, so it is best to try & ignite only 1 appliance at a time,,,,then 1 more at a time.. If it is not that may be a faulty propane regulatorr or your line so where may have a leak. Have had 1st hand experience w both issues in the past & was able to solve our issues using these RV tech suggestions. Other members will also have some valuable input or suggestions. Believe there are also existing threads in the forums that have suggestions that may help.

NOTE: REMINDER: All the while please remember to have adequate ventilation safeguards working ( open window, door, exhaust fan,) Good luck,,,,🍀👍

I'm going to try a few of these things like disconnecting the propane tank, but bleeding all the propane out by turning on the burner the stove and let it go out and have no propane in any of the lines, I will reconnect everything and try it again. we live full-time in our rig and I do run the heater every once in awhile. last winter it was flawless and ran like a champ. not sure what the issue could be, but I'll try a few more things
