I'm sure all Avenue's have the Cable Slide. A few posts back I posted a very detailed explanation that I got from Alliance on why they intentionally moved away from Schwintekto Cable due to reliability issues. Before I bought my RV I was worried about the Cable Slide because I watched one YouTube video saying "I'd never buy an RV with Cable...." Yet, after buying I have seen a few posts on the RV Owners Facebook page complaining about the Schwintek slide but never a post about an issue with the cable slide. Long story short, I think the Cable Slide drama is overblown.

For the record My 2012 Open Range RV had 5 cable slides.
Yes the cables would stretch and and slides would require adjustments.
Occasionally a cable would break.
Over the years I became very familiar with the cable system. in 12 years I replaced 3 cables on a unit with 5 slides.
The cable system has improved. I will also add the system was adequate for smaller bedroom slides and worked fine.
It was the larger living room slides where the cable system had its issues.
Now that I have Swintek on my Alliance I think I prefer cable vs. Swintek simply because the cable system is rather simple and DIY friendly vs. the more complex Swintek system

I know it has cables on the front. Just curious what version it is. the more I research, I think I would prefer cables as well
