#10 soon to be #12 😀

Waiting for the sun to come out so I can replace the #10 screws holding the slide topper rail to the building with #12 and some sealant and star washers for additional holding power as they are pulling off the building. I will also do the bedroom slide out with the same as some of those have rattled loose and don’t tighten well. I guess that 80 degree weather is gone till spring……..

I think I could get screws to bite better in butter than the original screws that hold the slide toppers to the building. Went up from 10 to number 12 and star washers and use sealant behind the flange.

Sounds like a winner. Adhesive on the threads should keep it tight.

1.5” you can use 1.25 if just doing slide toppers. I was doing the bedroom slide out also so they all got 1.5”
