Alliance has been great customer service so far for me in the 3 years I have owned my unit. Yes it is ok to complain. It this guy came on here with a complaint and has not replied since. So it really makes wander if he is legit.
That reply from a dealer is normal in the current world. Dealers are independent businesses. They have no ties to any of the manufacturer. It is not like the auto industry where dealers are franchises of the manufacturer.
We had repairs done at the factory, and like you we live a distance from the factory. We dropped the unit off at 6am Monday morning and all the repairs were completed and we were able to pick up the unit 10 days later. On a Wednesday. Yes you have to get it there.
The dates are set, it is Memorial Day week just like last year. In a short conversation with Jim, he stated they are looking at better ways to do the registration. They are trying to find a way to reduce all the stress and confusion. Just not sure what that will look like yet.
I agree with several others, all those are minor issues and if you would have done a proper PDI you would have found them prior to taking the unit off the lot. As for the tank sensors, I don’t care what brand you purchase, they are all unreliable and rarely work properly.
It has to go thru the dealership, Alliance does not sell or deliver to the public. Alliance does do factory service at the factory for upgrades and repairs, those are when the owner schedules these repairs with Service@alliancerv.com
Not real sure why Alliance told you they do not do repairs at the factory. There have been many owners that have work done at the factory, myself included. The biggest problem is the schedule for appointments is out at least 6 to 8 months.
When the Brady’s first started Alliance they started a Facebook page and asked what people wanted in the new rv. The majority of the people asked did not want the onboard vacuum. They stated they were more of an issue than a ben when they had them.
The Paradigm is a full profile 5th wheel. Come standard with 3 a/c. Has a drop frame for bigger basement storage. There are others
The Avenue is a shorter height, lighter but still has most of the comfort features of the Paradigm. I also believe the Avenue only comes with 2 a/c
We have the first Valor 40v13 to leave the factory with the Solar plus and a generator. We rpicked it up in February 2021 and have been totally happy with it. In the past several months I have added a second 60 amp charge controller , 3 more batteries and 2 more 320 watt panels.
