Black tank valve

Our blank valve tank is not working I’ve been underneath removed the cable operated the rod by hand no joy. Assume an Rv shop will have a pump to empty tank any other suggestion. Thanks in Anita Iowa Headed east. Hate working off a phone. Thanks

If you can operate it by hand, then the valve works. Sounds like you have a cable problem, unless I am missing something. Perhaps change the cable, or fix the one you have? The cable is separate from the valve when you buy them new.

Problem solved, it was just plugged up. In almost 50 years of RVing I have another new experience.
