Adding a cellphone booster?

Has anyone added a cell phone booster to their fifth wheel? We have the WeBoost OTR on our truck and have been happy with it while on the road but unfortunately it doesn’t help when we’re in camp. They make one for RVs called Destination RV. Wondering if it functions as well and how the set up looks. 👀

We've had our for several years, As long as you've got cell towers for your carrier in a reasonable distance, it will amplify the signal. If you've got at least one bar, it'll grab it. I rely on the OpenSignal application to locate and aim the antenna. There have been areas where even with the WeBoost, I've had no luck.

You can use your star link mini. Just switch your phone to make calls over wifi.

I’m familiar with using wifi to make calls but I have not subscribed to starlink. I do see plenty of them at the different parts we’ve visited this year.

None of that. Once you set it up you just set it out and plug it in. The router and modem are all built in. Plug and play. I have STARLINK at home as well. I live rural and there are no fiber optics Lines.
been camping all summer, no need for a ladder mount. I see people using stands? Each his own, just personally found it easier to just set on the picnic table.

I use a telescoping mast to raise the antenna up above obstructions with a flagpole mount which attaches to the pin box. I had previously tried attaching to the ladder, but found signal interference issues. I route the cable via the satellite connector in the basement to the matching connector behind the TV. The wiring is already there, so why not use ! From there the amplifier is powered by the 110v outlet behind the TV and the output antenna is conveniently mounted (or placed) to give the best coverage. HINT: Add 50ohm terminators to all unused coax terminals to reduce signal drop.
