2025 340 RL Paradigm bedroom closet doors.

Hello, has anyone else had issues with their closet doors failing. We now have had both of the closet doors fall apart. These doors are truly heavy. They both have had the top cross member separate and total break away causing the doors to land on our bed and a surprise when we got to campground.
Has anyone replaced with something different? I see that the 2026 units have gotten away from these doors and went with much lighter weight doors.

If you are fixing the existing, move the slider mounts on the door to the stiles instead of the top rail and predrill holes. With the right coarse-thread screws at sufficient depth, it should hold up much better. Or leave the mounts where they are and put a piece of flat strap aluminum on the backside of the door to span from stile to stile to transfer shear. If you move the mounts, remember to move the self tapper stops in the track to close and open properly.

Wrap the tops that hook in tight with black electrical tape or wire. They will no longer fall off ever. I did it I know!

wanted to point out that the doors have not pulled out from the top as most everyone has delt with. These doors have the top cross member totally separate from the vertical MDF of the doors (the 2nd pic shows it best).
I am considering replacing with two 24-inch x 80-inch hollow doors found at Lowes. Considerably less weight than the originals. Leaning towards two point (one higher and one lower) magnetic to hold them closed. still looking into the handle type.
