12 volt refrigerators

We have a 2024 Paradigm 310RL.Apparently, there’s been some recent discussion on 12 volt refrigerators particularly Norcold and their problems. Has anyone replaced their 12 volt refrigerator with another Norcold, a different brand or changed to a 120 volt refrigerator?

Norcold filled chapter 11...not sure you will get any support from them...

There should be a 120v outlet by the frig...used for the ice maker. This will require you to install an inverter and supporting battery bank.

I believe all of the 2024 Paradigm’s with the12 volt Norcold’s came standard with the 120v ice maker in the freezer compartment.
Most are not hook up or plugged in.
We have a 2024 310 RL and it definitely is equipped with an ice maker. We never have used it because it’s adds some extra steps to the winterization process.

Your outlet for it is hid behind the false wall of the lower right cabinet beside the stove.
The water line should be under the kitchen sink, it may or may not be connected to a shut off valve.
The outlet is powered by the dishwasher breaker.

The make and model number of the Norcold in our 2024 310RL is:
Polar Elite N20DC, Model N20DCIMSS.
It does have an ice maker that we do not use. There is an outlet and plug just as described by @BryanValRox.
There is an active thread on the forum about replacing with a Dutchaire 2419 (19 cu ft).

Took this picture today of the bottom of our Norcold 19 cu 12 volt refrig. Are these fuses, if so,what type?

Yes, those are your fuses.

They should be just you normal blade style fuse.

Yes just auto 12 v fuses. One for the fridge, one for the freezer.
