Some places say total length and mean it, is this one where it is trailer length? As built mine is at 45’8”310rl and truck it is 54’. I’m in site 523 45’ max 5th wheel length.
I often scout out CG's I'm interested in when in the area. To visually see and determine if I can fit. Some places say total length and mean it, is this one where it is trailer length? As built mine is at 45’8”
I do the same with scouting. Generally, COE campgrounds are really good. Hard to scout from 1000 miles away.I often scout out CG's I'm interested in when in the area. To visually see and determine if I can fit.
Its all about the approach! The CG roads are also part of the equation. There have been times I could fit into a given site however the roads are too tight for me to make it to ther site.
Other times I have got my 42' trailer into a site 30' max limit.
I only recommend exceeding limits if you can scout out the site
I've often rolled the dice with my prior unit. However my 390MP is not as easy to squeeze into a site on the fly, so I'm not as likely to gamble.I do the same with scouting. Generally, COE campgrounds are really good. Hard to scout from 1000 miles away.![]()
I think you would be fine. Just have to park your truck side ways at the end. That’s what I do most of the time anyway. I do agree you never know till you show up how things fit. If it was a back in site you can always back farther up if no trees, but a pull through you are stuck. I have seen a few triple axle toy haulers here. Some places say total length and mean it, is this one where it is trailer length? As built mine is at 45’8”
Good to hear on seeing some in there. I often put the back end way over a pad, keeping wheels on pad of course. I have put her in some tight spots before, just always carry some extra grease…I think you would be fine. Just have to park your truck side ways at the end. That’s what I do most of the time anyway.
