TPMS purchasing

Hi everyone. We are new owners of our 2026 Alliance Avenue 32RLS! We've noticed that it came prepped with a tire pressure monitoring system. Now we'd like to get the remainder of what we need to get rolling. I did scan the code and it said someone would eventually contact us with info for purchasing, unless someone out there has a better idea. Any thoughts?

The TPMS prep is simply a repeater antenna that should be mounted to the Coroplast underbelly and has a red light in the center to indicate it is powered. You can buy the compatible TST sensors and display anywhere online, or compare price with Alliance. If you buy a kit, it would include the repeater antenna that you already (supposedly) have installed. I say supposedly because I could never find mine on my 2026 Paradigm. An example of the kit:

Yeah, my TPMS prep on my Delta 262RB was nothing more than a hole drilled into the wet bay panel. There was no repeater, no wiring, nothing. I purchased a TST system. Had that on my last two RVs, it was/is bulletproof and works great.

Our 292RL also came with "prepped for TPMS" and all it was wiring basically was spot to mount and power a repeater. I'm not sure what brand it was "prepped" for, but I used the wire (only the wire) to power the amplifier for my EEZRV TPMS that I had on my last two trailers. In my opinion a having good TPMS is almost a necessity. I chose the EEZRV system originally because it was one of the few TPMS systems that doesn't keep repeating the last known value if the monitor in the truck loses connection to one of the sensors on the tires. I had heard stories of people loosing a whole tire and they had no idea because they didn't get alarm. Their TPMS kept displaying the last known good reading even though their TPMS lost connection to the missing tire. If you think about it, displaying the last known good value that makes absolutely no sense. When my EEZRV TPMS loses connection to a tire, it shows dashes for that tire, so I know there is some sort of issue, which is usually a dead battery in one the tire sensors.

I’m an EEZRV user as well. What LI says is so. I moved the sensors and monitor from our TT to the new 5er when we went Alliance.

I picked up a screw two weeks ago and received the warning in plenty of time to get the jack under the axle before the tire was flat. The system worked. Finding a replacement tire (the tire was not repairable due to the location) is the new challenge.

True but if you just have it handy to hear the alert, you don't have to be driven crazy. Beats the heck out of a blown tire or worse.

Just put it in the cup holder...display side down. No need to watch it as it will send audio alert if there is a problem. One less thing to watch. I have mine mounted in lower left of my windshield...hardly ever look at it.

Maybe they have improved since my last set 10-12 years ago? Going through the Rockies with that thing beeping to hot, low pressure, beep, beep,beep. 🥵
Mean while iv pulled off and nothing is wrong?? Mudder Fudger! 😂

What one would ya’ll recommend if I decided to try again? I think I hade a Tire Minder Brand? I don’t want one with the boosters off the battery? That thing caught fire on my last rig back at battery box and fried itself? I’d rather it not need that feature to operate.

Midnight, The newer ones today allow you to set pressure and temp so you won't hear the alarm going off all the time. They also have gotten pretty inexpensive. Don't get me wrong, if you think that money buys a better "thing" they are aout there to get YOUR money.

We honestly don't get any false alarms with our EEZRV TPMS. You have to set the minimum and maximum temperature and pressures properly. Every time the alarm sounded we had an issue with the tires, which has been a tire or tires were low on air. I just put the unit in the console and we'll just check it from time to time, mostly to see the temperature of the tires. Once it a while, we loose connection to a tire, which usually means the battery died in tire sensor. When that happens we don't get readings for that tire, which I prefer over seeing the last know value.

Midnight I'm in your camp . I have not used TPMS in a while but when I did, the false alarms and alerts made them more trouble than they are worth. I do imagine that they have improved over time.
For now I have more faith in My Sailun's than a TPMS.

The TPMS readout is not simply plug-and-play. It is necessary to program your desired limits for pressures and temperature to avoid nuisance alarms.

I can agree its simply not plug and play. I had repeaters and locks and all the gizmo's. In the end my biggest issue was most likely early generation TPMS. I'm sure it has improved since I owned TPMS, but at this point I'm over it
