Auto Gen Start with Victron Cerbo and NPS6000

Hi All,

Recently ordered a new Valor and looking at some upgrade for full time living, including boondocking. I was looking for a solution for when the batteries drop below a threshold, I want the generator to start automatically. Has anyone configured a Cerbo MK2 to autostart the NPS6000 generator?

Yea...this is built into Victron gear. See this video (not mine)

Thanks for the link to the video, my understanding is that NPS uses a different wiring that cannot be directly controlled by the Victron controller. Was just trying to verify and see what additional equipment I will need.

So from 10,000 feet, wouldn’t this come down to a normally open or closed power or ground circuit?
Certainly a relay could be used to reverse the logic if necessary. Again, without the exact details, this is a 10,000 foot observation.
