Thanks. I have done it already. Now I "need" a DC to DC charger from the truck. I am moving to a Ram as soon as the redesign hits and I am just not sure I want to put the effort or expense into it. I may not need one if the new Ram addresses this as an "improvement"Just install the new battery(s) and plug in with everything the same. Once you pull RV out of storage, move solar and converter to lithium profiles. Trust me...all will be fine.

On my Progressive Dynamics PD4500 there's a blue momentary switch labeled MODE. I thought this was the switch to set it to Lithium batteries.
After much fiddling I found a little tiny "DIP" switch above labeled LI/LA. This is the switch I needed. I'm like you and only switched it with no shore power.
Are you sure your's is the MOM switch?

It changed how the LED blinked but I'm not sure what the blinking means. Seeing it's named MODE I assume it indicates the LA charging modes (Boost, Normal, Storage).
Once I changed the actual switch to LI the LED does not blink at all.
And as @BryanValRox said in the thread above I had to change the Renogy solar charge controller to Lithium as well. I used the app but it can be done on the controller itself

Ryder, this is what I found on the Blue Button.
It is called the Wizard Manual Button unfortunately that is all I have found out.🤔🤣
Honestly, it still is unclear to me how it really interacts with the LI/LA switch and or the converter. If moving the switch between battery types controls the charging rate, than it is unclear to me what the manual blue button actually does.
In addition the a higher charge rate, moving to the lithium profile will remove the "equalization" mode, which is not needed for lithium.
Not sure if it is a Progressive Dynamics converter. If so the manual online says this.

Thanks my friend, I guess I just might be to analytical, while I understand the different charge modes, it is still unclear, at least to me, what the function of that blue button actually is.
I see there is some sort of (Charge Wizard)remote control on the website as well , so given the button is labeled as Wizard Manual Button, my guess is that it either turns this feature on or off or allows someone to cycle thru the different charge modes if necessary for some reason.( only guessing or course)

Yesterday I looked at it and light was solid. This morning blinking every 8 seconds. So looks like the light shows what mode converter is in.
Yup. Me too…I used to just dwell on stupid stuff…not that the Wizard button is stupid, you get the drift. (@Lantley I did have analysis paralysis from time to time!). Great quality when I was a detective. Personal pursuits, sometimes that gets in the way.
