Good mornin,,,we are in discussions on a used 2023 386RK and going to be living in it stationary location full time on our property. A question we have is does Alliance have a policy/recommendation on whether or not we use slide out supports? Any thoughts, advise, or info on who to contact is appreciated. Some mfgrs say “no”,,,, Thanks in advance !

I think I would start with support for the frame vs on the slide out I have Lippert support that slides into the 2" receiver in the back and it helps remove a lot of the bounce inside the RV. Now...when the washing machine is going, there is still some wiggle in the RV. I haven't ever had a time when I thought the slides were not stable.

If you will be off-rubber in your permanent location, then you would most likely be alright with supporting the slides. One reason not to use them when you're on-rubber is because the supports would carry the entire load in the event of loss of air in the tires. I don't know if Alliance has an official recommendation on this issue.

I've never owned (or tried) a hitch stabilizer, so I can't honestly answer that.

Sorry...it is by MoRryde, not Lippert. Got it for 50% off at the National Rally. Here is how it looks on our 340RL
