Roof height?

I know the overall height is 13’6” on a 340rl, but can anyone tell me what the ROOF height is? We’re trying to choose a carport for our rig and need to know the height at the outside edges.

Well I have a 310RL. Near as I can tell it is 12’4”. As you can see from my pic I have a gravel floor and it’s not level. I did measure it with the legs extended and level. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your help!!! Our rig is having warranty work done, so we can’t measure it, and we need to give the carport manufacturer our decision on height.

Personally I would wait and measure it yourself. Overall height published is not necessarily accurate to the inch. It's a figure while unhithched and level. Measure yourself WHILE HITCHED. At the same time you can measure the side height. For example my rig is 13'7" 😮 to the top of the front AC unit while hitched.
My suggestion is park on a hard level surface and use a 2x4 (or other stiff straight edge) with a carpenter's level and a tape measure. A person on the ground can read the tape. I'm not a "close enough" guy. 😜

I can agree If I were building something to fit my RV. I would want actual 1st hand measurements of my rig vs. measurements acquired of another RV via the internet.

Yep there not wrong. If your trying to getting close you need to measure yours and even then I would add to it to give you plenty of room to make up for slope of ground or angle of approach. Big purchase and you sure don’t want to find out it don’t fit after it is set up. Remember also to figure in thickness of gravel if that is what you are using. Also another consideration is the opening of your door, or basement doors, and location of the supports if it’s a tight fit (if it’s not got siding all the way down). Just some random thoughts.

More room is better room from my view. I built a camper port on my house and it’s 16’ tall a 14’ wide. I can work on the room (knees) and have all the slides out. Makes access and trip prep so nice. Also, we use it as a spare apartment when family is in town.IMG_4858.jpeg

Jealousy is ugly, but I have it looking at your property. Kidding on the jealousy, serious about how nice it is. My wife and are kinda looking for a site to build similarly.

Thanks. We recently added on the tall part of the house, so a few extra bucks for the camper port was a no-brainer. I can’t wait to get the concrete driveway done, which will include the camper spot. Out of the entire project, I get the most attention for the camper port, lol.
