Cable tv not working

I have brought this up before under the ROKU thread and am now at wits end. 2025 385FL
Still looking for answers as to why my cable tv wont work throught the trailer.
When hooked directly to the tv it works fine. Going through the trailer - nothing. Have worked the switches and button each way to no avail. There are no instructions for the purposes of the button or the switch. The diagram is poor at best in the manual and the stereo instructions arent even close to what we have in the rig.
The online manual is not accurate. Color coded wires should tell the story, but the cable inlet in the plumbing locker has beige colored coax cable... the tv has black and white colors. The beige cable ends at the circuit box in teh rear storage. I have no idea how to tell where it ultimately goes.
I have found 4 unconnected white cables in the rear storage.... no instructions as to their function.
I dont know if something is unhooked, something is broken or bad or if it will ever work according to Alliance. All the fittings are tight... at least the ones I have found.
Would like to know what the 2 coax unions are behind the front tv - they are unmarked. I assumed one was for satellite, but it didnt work for either cable or satellite.
Can someone better explain the tv system in this rig? I have the wiring diagram, but it doesnt help when coax cables go into a circuit box and come out as 14 ga wires...

I don't know if this is the diagram you already have but here 'tis anyway.
As for the booster switch. It should be on for OTA and off for cable.
You'll have to use a coax tester/tracer or trial and error to find where the wetbay cables go. A poor man's way would be to short the coax center and shield and use an ohmmeter on the other end.
Good luck.

johnm,

We have a 2024 385 FL. The cables that are unhooked are for the satellite the way I understand it. Our booster buttons are in the rear storage area and when turned on works the over the air channels from the antenna. When hooked up to the cable connection and the booster switches off the cable works fine. (we just need to make the right selections on the tv for the search for channels)

When you are not hooked up to cable, can you turn on your boosters and receive HD over the air channels to both of your tvs?

If you are getting over the air to both tvs through thr booster, then I would suspect an issue at the booster or between the booster and the Nautilus connection. I recently extended my tray out in the back and climbed thru the storage access next to where the booster and connections are located and removed the panel along that side, gives you excellent access to the cables/back of the booster and the top of the black tank, gray tank, lines and vents that I was troubleshooting. I think George's idea to measure the line from the Nautilus to the booster is an excellent idea. At least you will eliminate it as a problem source. You can then focus on the booster itself if it is not allowing the signal through.

Good luck,

I have looked at the wiring diagram already. It appears that the orange (satellite cables) are not connected - but I cannot determine where the connection should be. I dont have the tracer, but am familiar with it. My satellite (Dish) is hooked directly to the Wally through the slide - not through the nautilus... sadly. It doesnt work either. My antenna works - but similarly to my last rig - the antenna is all but worthless - only gets one network (ABC) - while the neighbors get 3....
Secondly, none of my wall receptacles have an orange coax cable to it.... so how accurate is this diagram?
Does anyone know what the 4 unattached coax cables are for in the rear storage bay?

I have been back there twice - removed the panel where the receptacles are for access... its currently removed....while I try and get some solutions...

Funny how an engineer likely designed this setup - but obviously has never owned a satellite dish or lived in one of these prior to the manufacturing process. There is no place for the Wally (Dish receiver box) to go! If this ever works I can resolve thast issue...but its strange how they design a satellite ready system and forget to include a location for the receiver.
Those things werent forgotten for the CPAP machine!

Get a cable tester, I have a 2024 385FL, that's how I figured out the cables, then labeled them.

At Lowe's, Home Depot about $ 40 buck
Have a tool already - wont tell me where the break is located. The lines are supposed to be color coded, but they arent....

Tried it, found the cable that goes from the nautilus to the rear storage area.... it also showed a short in the cable from the rear storage to the LR tv.... in each of the other three cables.... makes me think the circuit board is faulty. Gonna give Alliance a call...

When I got our 310RL, the satellite had troubles with our Tailgater (DISH). I paid for a technician to come out, and he went through the system changing splitters, connectors and other "things" and it worked well afterward. Bottom line, if you have a home setup, perhaps it could be worth the $ to have someone who does it for a living look at it.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks Karl - currently trying to trade emails with Alliance.

Currently have a similar issue with the cables, but on the antenna side. Neither TV reflects antenna as an input source. Have emailed Alliance regarding the issue and the mystery cables bundled behind the water management panel. Done the switchy changey on all inputs with no joy. Wondering if they even connected the antenna on the roof.

Thank you for contacting the customer service team of Alliance RV. I received your request for informatio regarding the coax cables in your 2026 Paradigm 340RL. Please see the attached Coax info sheet. The coax connections in your picture are for connecting a satellite system into your unit
