Attaching a Morryde cargo tray, how long can the screws be to safely attach to the carge bay floor?

I just got my Morryde cargo tray 60 by 29 inches. And it states to contact the manufacturer on how long of screws that you can put through the Floor of the cargo Bay. Don't want to hit any vital Components. Thanks in advance for your advice.

When Morryde installed mine during the rally, it looks like they are about 2" long. See the attached image. I took the image from the install video I did (also has the new king pin info). You can see the whole video here1766790248616.png

Thanks, I used AI and stated that the 310RL has a 1.5 inch floor of double plywood panals. Put in a request to Alliance but it was the day after Xmas so the response will be a couple of days. This sounds realistic. Horst

Well, I will go out on a limb here and say that AI might be leading you down the wrong path here.

While I don’t know the exact thickness of the basement floor, I am rather certain that it is not 1.5 inches thick.

Heck, sticks and bricks are normally only @ 5/8 or 3/4 inches.

You could remove your rear wall access panel and locate a hole in the floor for plumbing or wiring and measure the thickness yourself so you know for sure.

If I had to guess, I would bet on 1/2 or 5/8 at max. BUT as stated that is a complete guess. I would suggest you measure for yourself for piece of mind.

Thanks for that advice, in fact I was drilling some holes in the water pan that is underneath the water hookups. As you know there's always some water that dribbles out of the connections. I found some small plastic tubing and snuggly put those down the Holes I drilled and glued the ends because I don't want water getting into the wood. The wood seemed to be about 5/8 inch thick. I will keep an eye on those holes because I know that's a little risky or I'll be replacing some plywood.
The kit did come with one inch screws so I think I can use those along with a washer or two. Thanks

My 370FB has a couple of feedthroughs for Starlink prep, etc. There are two of these at each cargo bay opening. If you have one of these, you can easily remove the feedthrough and measure the floor thickness.

If this sliding tray will have any serious weight on it I would recommend through bolting at least the far end mounts. With heavy weight loaded there is a lot of leverage when fully extended and the screws will be more prone to pull out. We have a 385FL so the 10’ long pull out tray in the rear, within the first year the far end screws started to pull out, I added several more than the factory did and it’s on my list to through bolt them this Spring.

That is good advice, However I got the 60 by 29 inch tray and we will not have too much weight in there. We will have the lawn chairs and fold up table near the entrance and a small weber barbecue on the inside. Also the tray only comes out 60%. I will keep a close eye on it though. Thanks
