Slide out controller malfunction

My bed room slide quit working and the dealer talked me threw bypassing it and connecting power direct to the motor's and am able to work the slide. does anyone know if i need to replace the controller or is there anything else i can try?

Can you access the motor to see if the wiring is securly connected and confirm it is getting power?

I experienced the same issue this season. Given that you successfully bypassed the controller, your issue very likely is the controller . I replaced mine to resolve my no operation condition.

I am making the assumption that the bypass exercise used the controller’s power , ground and motor circuits directly at the controller and that you validated that the controller was getting the switch signal from the slide switches.

While the controller fixed my lack of operation, the slide is now really moaning as it goes in and out. I basically have zero confidence that it will operate realiably and will be replacing my slide motors in the very near future.
