Mini Golf Cart in Basement Storage?

We are considering the Paradigm 310RL and are seeking the dimensions, weight limit, etc. of the basement cargo storage area?

Have any Alliance 5th wheel owners stored/transported a mini golf cart in this space?
e.g. cricket or kandi nin golf cart

thanks!
Dave

Welcome to the forum,
I never heard of these before and went out to the website to give them a look.
It would be my opinion, that they would not fit thru the compartment door. (My opinion only, I didn’t review any dimensions to be sure)
I would think that the better option for you would be to purchase a rack and utilitize the trailer hitch on the rear of the coach. I believe it is rated to pull 3000 lbs with a 300 lbs vertical weight.

Just offering my opinion based on a quick review of the website and lack of a specific model that you might be considering.

thanks Bryan,

the cricket sx3 weighs around 400 lbs and is collapsible to these dimensions :
The SX3 collapses to
58" x 32" x 28"

I'll have to research the 310RL Basement access door and compartment dimensions and weight limit

Your very welcome, we have a 2024 310 RL. I just walked out and measure the inside dimensions of the pass thru(door side). Ours is 46 inches wide and 30 inches tall inside edge to inside edge. I have never seen a compartment weight limit published. Hope this helps!
We love our 310 RL!
Edited: How in the world would you manage loading and unloading 400 lbs?

Bryan,
thanks for measuring the basement cargo access door dimensions...theoretically the "collapsed" cricket should fit at 32" wide and 28" height (58" long).

cricket also sells aluminum ramps that can be used to power the cart up and into the cargo space using a separate remote.
hopefully the ramps on the edge of the cargo access would rest on solid surface and weight of ramps and cart would not damage anything.
is the bottom lip of the cargo access a raised lip? is it fragile or solid?

I'd rather use the rear hitch but like you said 300lb weight limit would be exceeded.

Good option could be a swivel trailer to hook to the back of the rig. Provided if it is legal in your state. One passed me on the interstate with a full size golf cart last month.

There is a raised lip that forms a ring around the compartment.
As far as quantifying it, if there is potential to get hit with a 400 lb strike, I would place it in the fragile category.
If the ramps had a bridge the could clear it and rest on the compartment floor, that could be an option.

We carried 2 folded down e bikes in our 310 storage and it was tough getting them in and out. We finally got a hitch rack for them. Also I already have dings on inside edge of door frame. It is aluminum.
