Changing Converter To Lithium From FLA

I finally got around to installing my lithium battery today. The Power Dynamics converter needs to be witched from flooded lead acid to lithium on a 2025 340RL; it is not automatic like some converters. In any case, i read how it could be a pain in the hindside on some models. On the 2025 340RL, it was piece of cake, 10 15 minute job. In my model, the bottom shelf in the coffee station is a false floor held in by four screws.

Remove the four screws and remove the floor/shelf.

To the right of the plenum is the converter.

On the converter you can see a pin hole and a larger hole. You should have a pin taped to the back of the converter (mine was behind some yellow tape and I reaffixed it with the white tape as seen in the pic). Remove it an place it in the pin hole and hold. The opening you see to the right of the pin hole is the indicator light informing you what charging mode you are in or if it is straight line voltage. Mine had a label on it informing us that when the light turns blue, it is in lithium charging mode. Just press and hold the key with light pressure in the pinhole until the light turns blue. The light will not stay on after you remove the pin after changing the charging mode.

Put it back back together and your done. Easy peasey on the 2025 340RL.

Hey Mike, don’t forget to change your solar controller as well if applicable.

I only had a few minutes at the rig today and just changed the setting through the app, not using the rotary dial (I just did not have time to remove everything and then remove the guard surrounding the charger). Is that sufficient? If not I can run back. It's plugged in and under cover so not a huge risk in any case. @Oregon_Camper the model I am using is the Victron 100/30 MPPT charger...would you by chance know? I changed it through the app to #7 Lithium, 14.5 bulk, 13.7 float, if I recall correctly.

Not knowing which Lithium battery you have, I'll answer with what I have. For my BattleBorn lithium batteries, I have my solar at 14.4 fo bulk and 13.5 for float.

Thank you. My question was not clear... apologies. What I meant was, without using the rotary dial to move it to position 7 (lithium), and only using the app to adjust the setting to lithium charging, has the setting actually been applied? So lets say the rotary dial is still on position 2 (lead acid), but I change the setting in the app to lithium, do I also need to adjust the rotary dial apply the settings? It seems i would not have to move the dial.

Sorry, I don't know
