Bedroom AC Vents: Closeable.

Disregard. Found them. We have a 2025 340RL. We have the Mach ducted air conditioner in the bedroom. My wife and I are working from the rig and she is working from the bedroom. The vents, regardless of the direction we turn them, causes a wind tunnel noise on video calls. I am thinking that there must be some vents that we can close while she is on the call so she still gets some cooling. I cannot see to find them...maybe I am searching incorrectly. Looking for any help from the group.

As an aside, I am 100% putting ceramic film on the windows. The heat gain is insane through the bedroom windows.

If you move the main AC sliding vents to "open" the cool air will just dump out. Leaving them closed, will send the cool air through the vents in bedroom and the vents in the bathroom. We like to open the main AC vents to quickly cool the bedroom.

Good suggestion. However in the 2025 340RL they have sealed the dump vent to route all air to the ducts. I suppose I could try that by opening it back up. I used the cool rv device on my travel trailer and it did quiet it somewhat. Bummer they sealed those dump vents off. I would take the cover off and see what it take to enable them to open/close again. :cool:

You could try using adjustable vent covers or magnetic vent blockers to redirect some of the airflow during call; many rigs don’t have true shutoff vents. Also, ceramic film will definitely help with the heat gain. If noise control and cooling are still a struggle, some folks even look into quieter alternatives like PTHP units for sale, which combine heating and cooling with less drafty airflow.
