Hello, my norcold ndc20 fridge on 310 rl has e 8 message after rough interstate 40 maybe coincidence. It shows freezer condenser fan failure. We are in Holbrook arizona and was wondering if only one of the 2 freezer fans is not working can we keep running fridge until we can get bad one replaced? Will it mess up the freezer condenser? Also I can’t seem to figure out how freezer is mounted to floor to pull out to check fans. Freezer and fridge seems to be working and can feel air blowing.

As a Hail Mary, why don’t you try cycling the 12volt power completely off ensuring the frig has no power for a minute or two and then power things back up to see what happens.
Owners manual link posted below in case you need it.

I thought it might be related as I had to redo my remove wires that were loose and controller was reading 24 volt instead of 12. Got jostled around. Do I need to disconnect battery cables as I turned the fridge off and turned on again a couple times after 5 minutes error code would go off again.

Not sure I follow 100% if you did this already or are asking?

I would power all 12 volt off, turn master disconnect off and solar disconnect off and lift the negative cable from the battery for a couple of minutes. Reverse the process and see what happens.

Also before doing so, get that 24 volt setting corrected.

Where did you see 24 volts being reported?
My Renogy controller showed it when we got to Arizona. I got with Renovy support and they walked me though it. Basically I guess the jostling from road jiggled wires in controller or something in the storage bounced into panel. I found 2 wire connections loose on controller and tightened. Everything seems to be working right but fridge error code.

I
Can’t hurt.
i rebooted and went right back to error 8. The Norcold freezer condenser fan from parts blowup. Looks like that part is no longer available, plus I have a hydraulic leak again I can’t seem to locate in pump area. All mobile techs are busy as it is busy season. I guess I might have to take it to phoenix to rv dealer and see if they will honor rout 66 extended warranty we purchased I thought using mobile techs was way to go instead of dealer for full time but you can never get one when you need one🤬

Sundry RV mobile techs helped us last fall when we were stranded. Got their name off Alliance website. If you haven’t tried them I highly recommend. 888-787-0881, sundryrv@gmail.com

Not sure this will help but there is a small wire connection on the bottom right under the refrigerator-in the front..there are two fuses there. Check the fuses. I have an intermittent problem and if I wiggle the connection just right it goes away and goes away.

Yes. First thing I checked. Am defrosting now to see if fan froze up. It is a shot in dark but worth try. Dealing with a mobile tech and they said Norcold 12 v have been doing this. Fan is special order.

Sorry about the set back with the beeping. Just figured a reboot was worth a try!

Update. Dealer found bad fan and bad spot on board. Getting 4 volts to fan. Norcold will not sell part to dealer we took to unless under original 1 year warranty.not enough parts available. Have reached out to alliance to see if they can help. Dealer said their distributors don’t sell part. So 7000.00 fridge and can’t get parts. It still working so continuing trip we are on with blinking error code and beeping but am able to touch fridge or freezer button and shuts off for awhile.🥵crossing fingers that hydraulic leak is stopped for now.
