Basement awning switch

My 2024 Alliance Avenue 29RL has two awning switches in the basement. When I use awning 1 the fuse blows and when I use awning 2...that fuse blows. The controls inside the cabin work fine. I started tracing the wiring and when I took the drawer (above the fuse box) out...you should see the mess. Wiring is jumbled up all over the place. Tracing it is a nightmare. For what the these things cost....you'd think they would install a terminal board instead of just twisting the wires together with a wirenut. I am not sure yet but I thing they mixed up the connections between the switches and the motor.

had a bunch of wires in our 2024 32rls that were wired wrong also. I was able to trace, correct and fix them also

Ok, traced the wiring and what a job that was....still sore from trying to twist, squeeze, and wrangle myself to get close enough to the whole mess. I believe the problem is from the last time the dealer was working on the awning. They probably crossed the wiring up and that's why the fuses blow. The dealer I went to is the same one I bought the rig from....was not impressed with their expertise.

Not quite as bad as the rats nest of wire you guys are dealing with. But on my last trip while stopping at a rest area I discovered the chloroplast had open up at the rear end of the trailer where the back wall meets the bottom of the trailer.
The seam was not secured properly and separated allowing the loose wires to escape. As a result, wires that should have been contained in the underbelly came out and were flying loose behind the trailer. Naturally the wires shorted and I had no left turn signal for the last 80 miles or so

Once I got home, upon further inspection the wires that run between the tail lights were just haphazardly laying in the underbelly unsecured.
The wires were 5-10ft longer than they need to be, creating a jumbled mess. I sorted it all and resecurered the underbelly by replacing a few missing screws.
The actual repair was not that bad but it certainly not something you want to deal with in a rest area.
Unfortunately,When RV workers are paid by the piece vs. a decent hourly wage these are the things the end user must deal with.

Still working with Alliance on troubleshooting the awning switch problem...thinking now it could be the switches but not 100 % sure. Now for another dilema.....just checked the USB outlets and four out of five do not work.....#$*@
