2025 Valor 12v Fridge??

Has anyone on here taken delivery of a 2025 Valor? I'm interested in if they are still coming with the Everchill 12v 17 cu. fridge.

We have this fridge in our '24 and it has burnt up two control boards and a defrost circuit so far and has left us scrambling to find an airbnb to store our food twice because of it. LCI states that they are no longer replacing this fridge and either offer a lump sum "payout" to just buy a different fridge or they will reimburse for their identified alternate model (that is discontinued and not available anywhere (confirmed with the alternate model manufacturer)) and a 1000w inverter installed to run it off DC.

Since the fridge opening in the 44V14 is only 29", I am up schitt's creek on finding a replacement fridge to fit the hole, otherwise, we either continue taking our chances and counting down the day until the fridge fails again right after a costco trip, or have to modify the cabinetry to accommodate a more reliable 120v model on an inverter. Both options unacceptable for a unit at this price point, or any unit for that matter..

//End rant/partial vent/partial PSA to Alliance/inquiry on '25 model 12v fridge.

I asked this EXACT same question on the Alliance forum on FB about our 370FB on order and didn't get a single response. Ours will come with the 12V Neverchill or Furrion but I am not sure the exact model. We intend to rip it out as soon as we get it and install a 120v fridge.

I have a 2025 Valor 44v14, took delivery of it in August of last year and it has the EverChill in it. I'm on this forum looking at posts because it died yesterday. I'm not sure what went bad on it yet. Freezer seems to be ok but fridge isnt cooling. Based off what i've read/watched, i think its either the fan or the board. Good thing Alliance and Lippart warranty service is so helpful...

Lol nice. I think you're on to something with just getting rid of it right out of the gate.

I was able to diag mine and it was just the fan. Amazon got me a replacement in 24 hours and were back to normal. Meanwhile Lippert and Alliance are still playing games regarding warranty :mad:

If you want to preserve the control board's livelihood, I suggest installing a low voltage cutoff in the 12v supply for the fridge so if your battery is ever drained empty, the board doesn't fry itself looking for power at low voltage.

I have had both 12v and 120v fridges in my RV's and I will NEVER own a 12v fridge again. At least if I sell it as soon as I get it to someone who wants to stick with the 12v unit, it will at least pay for some of the new fridge. 12v units take much less power but I will have a large solar array and 2 inverter generators so power usage is not an issue for me.

Great advice. Lord know this board is probably going to fail soon too...

Little late on the reply but can you link the fan you got? I'm seeing more and more instances of issues pop up and a link for a known replacement fan would be helpful for folks.

Great!... mine just did the same over last weekend - July 12. I am waiting for the fan from Amazon. The fridge failed two weeks past the bumper to bumper warranty :(
Hope it fixes it! I may get one of these fans to have on hand if when ours goes out. It sucks having the fridge go out when across the country with a fridge full of food.

I feel you. Our 24 310 has norcold fridge and our condenser fan went bad along with board not working right. It evidently burned board too when fan went out. Now we have to hit button several times a day because of beeping from error code. We are full time and refrigerator not working properly. Freezer fine. We have been trying to get parts from Norcold . Norcold authorized service center could not get parts. Hoping to get by until we get parts.Alliance is working with us to order parts. Hopefully they can come through.
