Under table receptacle

Checkout the skilled electrical installation of a receptacle under the table. Kids feet are constantly moving and if they had kicked this outlet...it would've popped right out of the housing. I happened to see it when picking up a droped fork. Somebody at the factory does not know what they are doing and whatever inspector there must've been asleep.

That is so wrong. Call Alliance and start a warranty ticket. Have them send you a new part...then you can use a proper tool to cut a rectangle.

They are all like that. We have a Valor and all the outlets I've removed so far have been cutout with a figure 8 hole saw. Seems like there is a cart of drills with 2" hole saws on them on the line and they use this for anything that needs a cutout or clearance.

Well, then they need to move to 1.5" saw then...that one is waaaay too big. I'd still call and ask for replacement...worse case they say no.

I have to agree, this is nothing but sloppy and unprofessional workmanship likely at the cost of speed.
@Bill Martin is there anything that you can do to stop this practice?
At the least it looks sloppy and given that it deals with electricity IMHO is unsafe.
Certainly not something that reflects kindly on the brand.

On our rig they must have lost the hole saw. Looks like they used a hammer to bust out holes for various things. A little more effort was put into the appearance of visible things but workmanship you don't see is less punctilious. 😜
