Low flow at kitchen island faucet problem SOLVED – 310 RL

After cleaning the screen several hundred times, various incantations, spells, an exorcism, ritual sacrifices still did not solve the problem of low flow, I decided a radical solution was necessary.

I looked under the sink.

What I found was shocking - the round weight thingy, I believe the technical name is yah-yah, was at the bottom of the loop of the faucet hose that moves up and down when you pull the nozzle out. in this position, it would fall between the wall and the pex tubing stub for the dishwasher, pinching the hose.
I moved the yah-yah farther up the hose towards the nozzle so it was in the vertical section instead of at the bottom of the loop. Problem solved. We now have full flow.
I may start a second career as a plumber, if I could only find that dang leak in the Nautilus.
Cheers

Congrats on tackling one issue. We had a leak in our Nautilus panel at the plastic part where hose screws in (on inside). Ordered new panel off Amazon and that solved the issue. Wish these were made with brass. Plastic just can't withstand our Interstate Highways. ☹️

I think I have narrowed mine down to the external shower assembly. But I can’t figure out which part of it is leaking, the valves or the body of the assembly. I hate to buy a new one and then find out that wasn’t the problem. It’s really intermittent so I’m pretty sure if I bring to the dealer for warranty it won’t leak.

I’m going to sacrifice a chicken at the next full moon and see if that works.

Good idea!! The chicken probably has bird flu anyway. Lol

This might help folks as well. Instructions on how to resolve this issue. At least for the kitchen.
It certainly will and I've added it to my maintenance and repairs folder! Thanks. I might be an outlier, but I actually enjoy maintenance on my vehicles, RVs, motorcycles. I wish I never had to, but I enjoy repairing things when I have to. Thanks for posting it! Not trying to drift in the thread, but I refuse to pay the price for professional ceramic coating. It is not hard but it is a time consuming and boring task...I am not looking forward to that but it's only once every 6 or 7 years with the new high quality ceramic/graphene coatings.

try Nexgen spray ceramic! It works great and is easy to apply. Lasts a long time as well.
