False alarm. When the dealer said they “fill both tanks” they really meant they filled one tank. Filled them up and furnace lit on first try. Sure was a cold night though. Yikes.

Could it be that it has gotten too cold for the LP to vaporize?
Not in Florida. -44 is boiling point.

20 degrees so not too cold. Took the tanks to propane vendor, he weighed before filling, they were empty. All good now.

Someone pointed out that refineries are supposedly cutting the propane with butane, which is cheaper and has a higher boiling point. Not sure if that is true.
