Lippert Level Up issue

I guess I have the Level Up system, that’s what the sticker in the basement says anyway. However the face of the controller doesn’t match the Lippert manual, it shows it as a TT controller.
In any case, when trying to auto level it says auto level not available. Auto hitch not available. Red lights by the left and rear buttons flashing. Manual level worked okay.
Can’t find anything in the manual on the messages or the flashing lights. Tried resetting and rehoming. Same result.
Not a huge loss as I don’t really mind the manual level. Curiosity more than anything.

So, a couple of things.
One auto level will not work unless the system as been manually calibrated.
Also , the nose must be high in order for it to operate.
If any manual operation(other than unhitching is used) prior to using it it will not work.
The lights flashing are your indicator for which buttons need to be pushed to manually correct the out of level condition.
I would start by manually leveling the system with a builders level inside(side to side and front to rear. Once level is established, refer to the manual and perform the button dance on the controller to recal the system.
Then hooked the trailer up and then unhook by only manually extending the front landing gear. Clear the truck away and then press and hold auto level for a few seconds. It should start by lowering the nose first.
I find it works well.

The flashing lights- were does it say you need to push those to reset it? I couldn’t find it.
The whole thing seems to be needlessly complicated. The manual leveling mode is so easy I think I will just stick with that.

The reesetting procedure is about at the 20 minute mark of the video.
Basically get the trailer level manually and verify with a level.
With power off press up arrow 10 times and down arrow ten times. This will recalibrate system to your new level point.
Watch the video at the 20 minute mark!
Life too short to level manually when you own a 2024 RV!:)

I totally agree with Lantley, invest a few minutes in the system and you will become more comfortable with it. Once auto level works, you will appreciate its function. I leveled mine manually at first when mine didn’t work and became familiar with the system operation, that gave me the confidence to find and execute the recalibration process and it has worked perfectly every since.
Give it a try!!!!! Its really not complicated, if your confident at manual leveling, it’s really just turning the controller off and pushing some buttons to complete the recal process once YOU have established level manually.

I agree with Lantley and Bryan. Once you get it right, you unhook, move the truck out of the way and hit autolevel. It will change the way you set up, a lot quicker.l and will be the same each time.

I have a question?
I took my battery out and unplugged for the winter. Will my Lippert leveler come Back up on line with power? Or will I need to recalibrate as you described?

Ditto, to what Jim posted.
But for some reason you find it doesn’t work, I would start with the recal process first.
If you would like to reset your level at any time it is a very easy process. I have heard of some folks intentionally recalibrating with a slight offset to help water drain properly in a sink or shower that might have standing water .
For us, true level works fine(as expected)
