Staying warm

We use reflectix on the bedroom windows since we don't open the windows or blinds in there very much. I have a piece of reflectix for our large living room window that I put up after the sun is off of that side and take it down in the morning to let the sun in. Other than that a couple of space heaters on low and set the furnace to a temp that it will turn on about every hour to keep things warm in the underbelly.

Oh and keep the bathroom vents closed until needed. Found that alot of warm air rolls through them pretty quick.

On our Valor we don't have a stove vent to the outside. Also haven't worried to much about sealing things up to tight. Along with trapping heat you are also trapping moisture. Cooking, showers etc. We typically don't spend to much time in the cold if we can help it. I guess if you were going to be in the cold for long term you could put those plastic window sealing kits on all the windows?

The. With the wind blowing when I open the door there is wind blowing Must be big air leak. Stove vent major.
In the what it is worth department……. Our Paradigm has a stove vent to the outside. It is equipped with a flapper that can be locked closed. I need a ladder to reach it, but my process is keep in closed during storage and travel, and unlock it during set up and snap it back shut during tear down. You have to access it from outside and it just snaps or unsnaps in about 2 seconds. Certainly if staying warm is an issue and you suspect a major leak, I would snap it shut and even consider covering it when not in use.
I would also guess that slide seal corners could be another source of heat loss or cold air infiltration .
