12 volt disconnect switch

I recently took delivery on a 2025 delta 252 RL . I discovered that when I turned the main 12 volt disconnect switch to off the slide and tongue jack still worked. When I read the manual about the disconnect switch it said when the switch is off some things may still work. What items should still receive power when switch is in off position?

The slide and level system are not stored to the disconnect on my 26rd.
Thank you I Emailed to alliance tech about my questions and asked if he would send me an electrical drawing on the DC circuits. He replied that he couldn’t send any drawings they belong to Alliance. It would make things easier to be able to see how everything is wired if a problem occurs. I don’t understand why they don’t share drawings most places will.

Hi,
I had noticed this same behavior on an older rv I used to have. I wonder if my 2024 paradigm 375rd has the same connection. I always thought it was just the slides and jacks, but I'm surprised you mention the fridge. I do believe it makes sense that remaining items would have an on/off switch. When disconnecting or connecting the battery cable anything pulling power could short out the circuit if direct to a load.
It's winter here, but i will check in the spring and report back.
Cheers

My Slides, Leveling system and 12 VDC Fridge all work with 12 VDC Disconnect off.
I really wonder why Alliance does that? With my new system, I have 2 switches. The Grey one turns off all power to the inverter and the red one cuts ALL 12 volt power. Solar can still charge/maintain battery bank, but I can flip those breakers (while box) if I want them to be off as well.

RVs with an RVIA sticker are constructed to RVIA standards, including the electrical system. This standard specifies which circuits are not wired through the cutoff switch.
With that said, I added a cutoff switch to the negative feed from the battery for total shutdown of the electrical system.

I only worry about the cables when installing and removing the batteries. My RV has some solar on it, so I don't have any trouble with the way we use the rv. We don't boondock like we used to so I only do those once a year to disconnect and again to reconnect. I just clamp the cables out of my way while doing this.
However, this is a good post and I enjoy the thoughts.
Best,
