Morning, have you checked the light fixture for a switch that allows you to select between off, motion and constant on?

I have found no switch ...this 11 dollar motion light doesn't appear to have a on/off switch and these 2 smaller light and long strip light stays on all the time

If you haven't already contacted Alliance I would try that, our pass through lights have a switch on them.

I was waiting for someone to mention this about the lights! We have had our 29RL since May and have tried several things to turn off the motion lights in the pass thru. Wife sewed some little flaps from scratch material with velcro on them to cover the lights and they work about 1/2 the time. Can't find a switch anywhere on them either but did find where they are fed into the front compartment right above the battery box. Was going to put a switch there but havent gotten around to it. Let me know what you find out. Thanks, 7ACmike

Mike i think those lights have to be defective. The pantry lights look the same and they work...so I submitted a Warrenty slip to alliance...haven't heard anything yet

Hi mike, i was told by alliance to take the black wire and the white wire and swap them. It blew a fuse. I replaced tge fuse and put the wires back to their original place and now the lights work as advertised...go figure...

Here is the wires
The orange and white wires on the left.

has anyone figured this out yet? I have a 2024 32 RLS with the same light issue in the pass-through compartment lights. stay on and turn off for about 5 seconds. then they turn on and stay on I think it's a wiring issue. I found multiple issues with my wiring on my main panel and had to correct it myself. anyone know what the real wiring pattern should be for these to make it work, right?

I contacted alliance who told me to swap the wires...black and white wires...they blew the fuses...but i replaced the fuse and put the wires back to their original location and the light has been working....i know it sounds hokey ...but it worked...hope this helps

I have a 2024 29RL with the same problem. Pass thru storage lights will not turn off. No switches, buttons, knobs...etc anywhere. Did the wire swap Ramjetr1960 did but no help. Sent email to Alliance customer service but nothing yet.

I have the same issue. Please let us know if and when you get a response. I’m leaning towards putting a on off switch.

I have the same problem. For now I pulled the fuse out. It was the 7th fuse down that run the lights in the cargo and front cap. Until the light problem is resolved.

What was the procedure to get them replaced from Alliance ? My 5er is only 4 months old
I called their engineering section via customer service and did a trouble shooting proceedure they asked me to do. Sent them some pictures of the lights and wiring because they wanted to know the wire colors. Nothing worked, so they sent me two of the same style lights. I am going to install two miniature 3-way switches and use them to control the lights.

I like your idea of installing two switches. I assume one one each side of the cargo area. Could you send me info on the miniature 3way switches? Thanks
